ABOUT USVaclift was founded in 1968, by Noel and Edith Pamment.Just prior to founding Industrial Containers, Noel was working for a large engineering company as an estimator. One of the jobs he estimated was constructing containers for a waste collection company. The structure of the organization precluded being able to provide these containers at a competitive price. Noel however recognized that with some hard work and dedication, a good business opportunity was available. Within a couple of years the opportunity to manufacture some vacuum tankers presented itself, so in 1970 Industrial Containers made its first Vacuum tanker. In the mid 1980's Industrial Containers began distributing an imported hooklift machine, through a combination of clever marketing and a good reputation, Industrial Containers developed a market dominance for hooklifts throughout Australia. As with many mature markets the competitive pressures of manufacturing containers became too great and in 1995 Industrial Containers withdrew from manufacturing traditional waste containers. Not long after a name change to Vaclift was enacted to more closely reflect the true direction of the company. Today Vaclift is owned by Jon Pamment, the eldest son of Edith and Noel and continues to be the dominant force in Australia in the supply, distribution and manufacture of quality Vacuum Tankers, Vacuum Pumps and Accessories and Hooklift machines. Company VisionOur vision at Vaclift is to be the best manufacturer and distributor of Vacuum Tankers, Hooklift Systems and Vacuum equipment in Australia. Company MissionWe at Vaclift will become the best by being innovative, listening to customer needs and supplying quality solutions in an efficient manner. J. W. Pamment, Managing
